Today I spent the day with 30 other area science teachers all interested in one thing:  GETTING BETTER AS PROFESSIONALS.  The day was spent simply sharing, networking, and discussing ideas from one classroom teacher to another.  We started the day as a large group and shared ideas we all could benefit from and then we split into discipline specific groups to talk.  The ideas shared were great and everyone took something they could use right away.  The types of professional conversations we had today were a true benefit for all those in attendance.  It was like talking to people on Twitter, but in real life!  What a concept.
