Day 71 – Shoeless Joe Physics

Chemistry 1 – We worked on various Energy change situations today.  Above is an example of a problem that has a tray of water at 20 degrees C placed in the freezer and turns into ice cubes at -8 degrees C.

Physics 1 – Inspired by Frank Noschese we began measuring what affects the Friction Force between our shoes and a surface.  One class narrowed in on the fact that Normal force is the major player in the differences, while the other is measuring mass.  We can work on the idea of Normal force later.

Chemistry 2 – Groups began presenting to the class about the Organic Functional Group they found information on.
