Chemistry 1 – Students were given their PPM unit assessment back. The unit assessment contained items that assessed all the goals from the PPM unit. Now that we will be moving onto Unit 2 I want to give an opportunity to reassess any goals that are scored yellow. There are two options for reassessment opportunities, see my school web page for details.
Physics 1 – Groups were asked to report the results of their bowling ball experiment on a whiteboard. The questions they were asked to answer was: When a bowling ball is rolling on the level ground (nothing else is touching it) can we apply the constant velocity model?
Chemistry 2 – We took some notes on pH and added the idea of a pOH scale as well. Small groups then practiced doing some calculations using what we discussed about [H+], [OH-], pH, pOH.
