Chemistry 1 – We shared our measurements from using metersticks that measure to various degrees of precision. As a class we realized we do okay measuring when the rulers aren’t very precise, but as soon as we use a “regular” metric ruler (one with mm marks but only cm numbered) we struggle to follow our ESTIMATE ONE PLACE FURTHER THAN WHAT THE RULER TELLS YOU FOR SURE rule. We will keep working on it.
Physics 1 – We worked to finish graphing a few data sets and practiced “linearizing” the data and writing equations for the lines (EOLs).
Chemistry 2 – We began working on Ideal Gas Law problems, including BCA tables where gasses are involved. Each student worked in a group and put the solution to one problem on a whiteboard.
